The UK Prime Minister to Push Supporting Countries on Long-Range Missiles for Ukrainian Forces at UK Gathering

Britain's leader plans to press allies to supply Ukraine with additional long-range missiles to hit enemy locations during a meeting in London on this Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive Ukraine's leader the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to offer Kyiv protection commitments once hostilities pause is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been pleading for weeks for more extended-range systems from allied countries, a step that Moscow has cautions would worsen the hostilities.

President Zelensky is travelling from Belgium, where he conferred with EU leaders on yesterday requesting economic assistance.

Sir Keir will encourage leaders to ramp up the provision of extended-range systems following a productive operation on a chemical plant in Bryansk, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided advanced weaponry.

"And his depraved strikes on innocent children in a nursery this week demonstrate that abundantly clear," he added.

A pair of children were among no fewer than seven killed in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which hit a preschool facility in the major urban center Ukraine's second city.

Budgetary Negotiations

Sir Keir will confer with supporting countries on how to take Russian oil and gas from international trade.

They will also discuss using frozen Russian assets to offer the Ukrainian government with economic assistance, although the plan experienced a lack of political consensus and regulatory obstacles at the European meeting on yesterday.

The EU declined to approving a plan to utilize up to €140bn in seized Russian resources to economically support the Ukrainian economy.
