Her passing was confirmed in a online announcement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”

Within a published essay in November, she disclosed that she had been suffering from a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
